Dillingham-Lewis House/Chicago & Alton Hotel

Once a home to Morgan and Melvina Dillingham and Nara Lewis, the Dillingham-Lewis house has become the city's best kept secret. Several historical society members, museum guests, and paranormal investigators have witnessed shadow figures, poltergeist activity, and many other unexplained moments. The Chicago & Alton Hotel was a bosting business, providing housing for those traveling the Sante Fe Trail and railway. The hotel attracted several cowboys, looking for a place to enjoy a glass of whiskey, a good hand at poker, and beautiful ladies of the night. Historical society members refuse to enter the hotel alone after experiencing an unknown, darker entity that one day checked into the hotel, and refuses to check out.
