Randolph County the Asylum / Infirmary

Interested in investigating a Historic/Haunted Poor Farm, County Home, Asylum, Infirmary, and in it’s final days a Nursing Home?!

Private investigations run from 6PM to 10 AM. That’s 16 hours that the asylum belongs to you and your group to explore. One of our guides will meet you there and give you the grand tour, pointing out places of historic significance in the building as well as areas that are known for paranormal activity. If you have a special request to have a certain person be your guide for the night, just ask and we will do our best to accommodate you.

The asylum has beds and/or mattresses for up to 16 people, 15 of which are in the superintendent’s section and an additional bed in the jail cell on the 2nd floor, men’s side. There is electricity throughout the building and the lights all work. Amenities include a full kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker that are available for use.

Rules for the asylum: No drugs, no alcohol, no smoking inside (we provide cans for butts outside all the entry doors), no guns inside, no open flames (ie. candles), and please don’t provoke any of the spirits.

We have waivers (on site) that everyone must sign in order to investigate.

If you would like to book an investigation, check out our events page for all the current bookings. If there is not an event listed, the date is open. Weekdays (Sunday through Thursday) cost $500 for a group of up to fourteen people and Fridays and Saturdays are $700 for a group of fourteen. These are flat rates, not per person. If you have more than fourteen people attending, the cost is $50 per additional person.
